1. How do I pay for my drinks, food, tickets and other store items?
There are two main functions on WAAVE, Order from menu or WAAVEPay both functions work on WAAVE Credits.

2. How does WAAVEPay work?
Use your phone's camera to scan the WAAVE QR Code at the store and enter the amount you want to pay. If you have apple pay you the app will default to that funding source if you don't you will need to add a credit or debit cards. Follow the screen instructions and once your transaction has been approved the receipt will turn GREEN, you can show that to the staff.

3. Do I always have to TOP UP first?
Absolutely not! you can WAAVE-as-you-go. This means each time you place an order or WAAVEPay the app will purchase the exact amount of WAAVE credits to cover your present transactions. That way you do not need to Top UP in advance

4. Are WAAVE credits store value?
Nope. WAAVE credits are actually USDc. When you purchase with WAAVE you are actually purchasing in Cryptocurrency but without the headaches of having to learn about all things Crypto. Your USDc is sent to the merchants eWallet, and we do all this with a single tap, no extra steps

5. How do I top up my WAAVE Wallet or add a card for WAAVE-as-you-go?
Go to your Wallet and tap on the Add Money tab Select the amount you would like to top up. If this is the first time you top up, you will have to add a credit card, by tapping on Add New Payment Method.
You can add a card manually or by scanning it. Once your card is in the system you can top up with one click! Add as many card as you want, work, personal etc cause you can select a different one every time you use the app.

6. Do my credits expire?
Only if you let your account go dormant. Your account will go dormant if you have not used it in 6 months. You will get a notification about this

7. Can I apply WAAVE Credits to an order and complete the transaction with my card?
Not right now, as a rule you can either Top Up or WAAVE-as-you-go. If you have credits in your wallet because you have a promo code or you have earned credits for sharing the app with friends, then we suggest you keep earning credits until you hit the desired amount for a full order or you can top up a small amount like $10 or $25

8. How do I place an order with WAAVE?
Check-in at any of our partner venues and you will see have access to their menu or list of products). Select the items you wish you order and they will be added to your tab.
Go to your cart, upper corner of the screen and review your order. If all is fine tap and hold on “Pay with WAAVE”. Your receipt will turn GREEN Show that screen to the staff to get their PIN to close the transaction.

9. How do I get my items?
Like in any bar when it gets busy you might have to remind the bartender or your waiter that you have a WAAVE order on the way. Before you tap on “Pay $XX with Waave” remember to add your table number if you want the order delivered to you otherwise you can pick up at the counter.. The staff will either take your OTP or enter their pin and deliver your order.
That’s it! You are riding the cashless WAAVE. you have ordered and paid with your phone.
If you are at a retail store the staff will handle you your purchase after they close the transaction on your phone

10. How do I keep track of my purchases?
In the Wallet screen you will see all transactions on your account. When you add credit, or spend credit at a venue. Also you will be able to view how many gifts you sent and/or received through WAAVE. Think of this screen as your real wallet, your credit cards are there, your cash, your gift cards or vouchers and all your daily receipts.

11. How do I cancel an order?
You have to cancel an order the old fashioned way. Get your staff’s attention and let them know you have changed your mind. It is up to the bar manager to accept this cancelation or not and that will depend on whether your order has been prepared or not. If they agree to cancel your order, this receipt will show in your Wallet under Transaction screen as CANCELLED. This means your credits will be refunded to you wallet immediately.

12. Can I change an order I already placed?
Yes. You will have to ask the server to cancel the current order and start a new one. If an order is canceled the balance will come back to you in WAAVE credits so don't forget to use them on your next transaction

13. What happens if I walk away before I receive my items?
The venue considers a WAAVE order equivalent to a traditional order so if you walk away without successfully cancelling your order with the staff, or you do not approach them for a missing order, that transaction will be a valid transaction and it will show in your Wallet under Transactions as CHARGED.

14. Can another person get my order?
While anything can happen due to human error, the WAAVE system helps minimize the possibility of this. Your username must match the order and the OTP for that transaction. This makes it impossible for another user to get your drinks at the bar.

15. Are there any additional charges?
In some cases there might be a convenience fee. All applicable fees, charges and taxes are detailed in your tab and in your receipt. There are no hidden fees, you will see exactly how much you are paying before you place the order.

16. Do I get a discount for using the WAAVE Wallet?
In many cases venues offer a discounted price or special promotional prices to WAAVE users for ordering and paying with the App. These promotions are detailed in the Venue Screen before you checkin and the discounts are reflected in the menu.

17. Can someone else use my account?
Only if you share with them your login credentials, so we suggest you keep your username and password private, and setup a Passcode for your device. If you have any additional questions please email us to FAQ@getwaave.com

18. How do I earn cashback?
Every time you place an order you eran cashback. Cashback is exclusive to the venue you visited. You can use this cashback 24 hours after you earned it. Just make sure your apply them to your next order. Alternatively you can accumulate your cashback and save for one big order!

19. How come I can use my credit card with WAAVE?
WAAVE works with USDc a stable coin that can legitimately be used at cash-only merchants. When you make a purchase you are doing so in cryptocurrency. This does not affect your experience but helps the merchant expand their payment options

20. Do you verify that merchants have all licenses to operate at their location?
Yes, every merchant has been vetted before joining our network. We keep all records for as long as they work with us

21. Can I use WAAVE if I am under 21 years old?
Only at venues that serve product for minors. For example, even with WAAVE you will be carded before they serve you a beer. Cash-only merchants will check your ID at the door, so unless you are 21 years old or older, WAAVE wouldn't be a good tool for you

22. Can I deposit my cashback into my bank account or credit card statement?
No, cashback can only be applied on an order that the same venue

23. What is WAAVE checkout and why should I use it?
WAAVE checkout allows you to pay for an online order at merchants that are cash-only. By pre-paying for your items you are guaranteed a smooth delivery or pick up experience. But most importantly we guard your card information and you do not need to eneter it multiple times in different websites, all you need is your WAAVE login credentials to checkout at any e-commerce site that shows our button
